I’m feeling so cold inside, oh please don't throw me away

First of all, I'd like to thank you for your support and comments to the previous post. It's a pleasure to read your opinions. Thank God that there are such people still alive! :)

Ok, now today's post. Winter has come and paralyzed almost whole Europe! The governments should be prepared for such a type of climate cuz it happens every year! Unfortunately, the public transport doesn't work properly during these snowy and freezing days. Such a shame.

After this short, unpleasant introduction, I'd like to write smth about today's outfit. It's a typical winter look which I wear these days almost everyday. Why?
1. It's very warm
2. Perfect outfit to university classes
3. Elegant, but at the same time comfy and and not too formal

I know it's very simple (like most of my outfits) but I hope it's serve you as an inspiration ;)

Przede wszystkim chciałam podziękować za wasze wsparcie i przemiłe, podnoszące na duchu komentarze ;) Czytając wpisy pod poprzednim postem byłam zarówno zaskoczona, jak i szczęśliwa :) Dzięki ci Boże, że istnieją jeszcze tacy ludzie ;)

Co roku "zima zaskakuje" i jakoś nie widać poprawy w organizacji transportu publicznego w te ciężkie dla wszystkich dni. 700 minut opóźnienia autobusu miejskiego? Chyba naprawdę nadciąga koniec świata :)

Ok, przejdźmy do outfitu. To raczej typowy zimowy ubiór. Tak wyglądam prawie codziennie. Dlaczego? To raczej proste pytanie ;)
1. Nieziemsko cieplutki
2. Idealny na uczelnię
3. Odrobinę elegancki, lecz zarazem wygodny i nie zbyt formalny

Oczywiście jest dość prosty (z resztą jak większość lookow na moim blogu ;)), ale mam nadzieję, że Was zainspiruje.

Tall girl+high heels?

This post is dedicated to those tall girls who are afraid of negative comments on heard the street about their height :)


How high heels can be? How tall girls can wear them? These questions has been scarying me during my whole life.


I've always been tall. During the childhood even taller than most of boys. I've heard a lot of comments,p.e. that I looked like a "giraffe", that I was big (not tall), even huge, etc. People, think before you can hurt someone! In this situation I didn't even think about heels. But who forbid dreaming? ;)

Finally I reached 1.80 cm. Do I still feel bad with it? Well, I accepted it but still have to hear from time to time some bad opinions. Especially when I'm wearing high heels. To be honest, they're not that high. The highest ones are 9 cm heeled.

Lately I'm trying to overcome my discomfort when being "above the others". But I couldn't do it without help. Who is my heroe? These two great women.

A Polish journalist Anita Werner and a fashion blogger Andy Torres. They're both 1.80 cm like me. And both wear high heels. And you know what? They don't care what the rest thinks ;) Girls, you rule!

Let's hope our society will respect the differences which exist between people and stop critising "the different ones" :)

Ten post dedykuję wszystkim wysokim dziewczynom, które obawiają się wyjść na ulicę z powodu negatywnych komentarzy odnośnie ich wzrostu :)

Całe życie pytałam siebie: jak wysoka powinna być kobieta? Jak wysokie powinny być szpilki? Dość tego!


W dzieciństwie wiele się nacierpiałam. Zawsze bylam wysoka, nawet wyższa od większości chlopców. Nienawidziłam swoich nóg. Nawet zastanawiałam się czy jest możliwa operacja skrócenia kosci (jeżeli można wydłużyć to dlaczego nie odwrotnie? :D). Wiele osób wyśmiewało fakt, że mialam przez pewnien czas niższego ode mnie chłopaka.
Ludzie! Zastanówcie się jak może się poczuć druga osoba zanim rzucicie jakieś bezsensowne wyzwiska! Byłam "wielką", "żyrafą", "olbrzymem", etc. Na szczęście dzieci dorosly.

W tej sytuacji nawet nie myślałam o butach na obcasach. Ale nikt nie zabronił mi marzyć :)
Od jakiegoś czasu zaczynam przełamywać mój dyskomfort bycia "ponad wszystkimi". Jednak nie udałoby się to bez pomocy tych dwóch wspanialych kobiet: Anity Werner, polskiej dziennikarki oraz Andy Torres, bloggerki. Obydwie panie noszą mega wysokie szpilki i bardzo dobrze się w nich czują. Wyśmiewają wszelką krytykę i za to je kocham :) Rządzicie!

Mam nadzieję, że nasze społeczeństwo zacznie szanować fakt, że jestesmy różni i pozbędzie się okropnego nawyku wyśmiewania wszelkiej "inności" :)

A więc obcasy na nóżki i w świat! :)

Art&Fashion Festival, Stary Browar, Poznań

Mam to szczęscie, że pomieszkuję w Poznaniu i mogłam uczestniczyc w tym wydarzeniu (choc malo aktywnie). Przez te wszystkie dni przyglądałam się warsztatowiczom, a dzis mialam okazję przysluchiwac się wykładu Gosi Baczyńskiej i Tomasza Ossolińskiego.
Nie będę streszczac pogadanki. Powiem tylko, że poznalam kilka branżowych ciekawostek. Np., że mimo ogólnej opinii spoleczeństwa o wygórowanych cenach ubrań od projaktantów, tak naprawdę warte są swej ceny. Mimo to musialabym sprawdzic to na wlasnej skórze, co pewnie nie będzie możliwe w najbliższym dziesięcioleciu ;)
Utwierdziłam się też w przekonaniu, że dobry projektant niekoniecznie musi skończyc studia, a nawet lepiej kiedy ich nie kończy ;)

School again, huh? Anybody happy? :D Not me! Luckily, it's my last year at this uni ;) It'll be crazy period but I have to survive it :)

As you can see I had to take pics at home. I mean it's like a temporary home, I live here during the school year. I changed a little the "decoration" and that's how it looks like now ;) What do you think?

Today's outfit is kind of geek one ;)
Ok, from the beginning.
The basic piece was the skirt. I found a similar one in Elle or Vogue UK, I'm not sure. And of course it was love at first sight! Luckily, my gradma made it for me :) I love it! It's lama wool. Today I've seen similar ones in ZARA, but nothing compares to mine ;)

I added a shirt from Stradivarious which made this outfit look a little geek ;) But I think that at the same time it's classy and elegant ;)
The brooch was also love at first sight, bought in Glasgow in Miss Selfridge. I'm just crazy about the animal theme!
And my nails are trying to fight with my autumn depression ;)

Bardzo przepraszam wszystkich za takie opóźnienie, ale jestem strasznie przeziębiona :( Czuję się okropnie. Mam nadzieję, że wybaczycie mi zamieszczenie samych fotek bez notatki. Zdjęcia zrobiłam w zeszłym tygodniu, lecz ich wczeniej nie zamieszczałam, bo nie byłam z nich zadowolona. Mimo to, mam nadzieję, że Wam się spodobają ;)

To prosty, codzienny look, idealny do szkoły, która niestety zaczyna się w przyszłym tygodniu. :(











A jeżeli chodzi o to, co się działo na zeberce...
Miałam ochotę napisac oddzielny post wyjasniający, ale stwierdziłam, że nie będę się z niczego tłumaczyc. Powiem tylko jedno. Ci, którzy znają angielski, niech spojrzą na łańcuszek: "Once upon a time...". Wszystko powinno byc jasne ;)

I know, I know. I can imagine you watching my new pictures and saying "OMG, so sad, so boring". I can't help it. As you may see my "grey obssesion" is not over. I just feel really comfortable in this colour!

Tee- Reserved

Do you remember when you were a kid, a teen, and wanted to wear t-shirts with your favourite rock bands, pop stars? I do. When I was about 14 I wore only dark clothes. Black t-shirts with The Rasmus (Finnish band)and huge military green trousers. It was my "rebel period" :)
Now I'm more interested in actresses, actors, fashion designers and models. And one of them you can see on my today's tee. Marilyn Monroe- a woman whose life was full of strange events. I've seen a documentary about her lifestyle, drugs and of course diseases. She was very miserable. The thing is that she had no private life. All that mess around her just suffocated her. Although, I think she was a great person with good taste.


Leggings- Reserved

Leggings were "in" this summer. Old and young women wore them. So nothing surprising that designers wanted to create a "winter type". The first ones I saw in H&M. Those with Peru-like prints. As I haven't found them yet in the stores, I bought these ones from Reserved.
I feel a little uncomfortable wearing them with short tee so I added a cardigan also from Reserved.
Shoes you could have already seen, they're from H&M.
The bag I bought also in H&M about 2 years ago.


I know. Almost the whole outfit is from Reserved. I have to admit I don't like that store so much cuz the prices are sometimes a little bit too high. But as you can see from time to time you can find something chic and cheap. Just search ;)

PS. How do you like my dog? :) He hates the camera so I was quite shocked when he was posing with me :D




Wiem, wiem. Już wyobrażam sobie jak oglądając moje nowe fotki mówicie "Ojeny, znów tak smutno, tak nudno". Nie mogę nic na to poradzić. Moja "szara obsesja" nie widzi końca. Poprostu czuję się bardzo wygodnie w tym kolorze ;)

Bluzka- Reserved

Pamiętacie jak byliście dziećmi i chcieliście nosić t-shirty ze swoimi ulubionymi zespołami rockowymi, gwiazdami popu? Ja pamiętam to bardzo dobrze ;) Nosiłam tylko ciemne ubrania. Czarne t-shirty z The Rasmus (fińska kapela) oraz ogromne militarne bojówki. Tak przeżywałam mój okres buntu ;) Teraz bardziej interesują mnie aktorki, aktorzy, projektanci mody i modelki (co nie znaczy że porzuciłam ukochane fińskie zespoły ;)).Jedną ze znanych aktorek możecie zobaczyć na mojej koszulce. Marilyn Monroe- kobieta, której życie było pełne dziwnych zdarzeń. Oglądałam kiedyś dokument o jej stylu bycia, narkotykach i chorobach. Była bardzo nieszczęśliwa. Tak naprawdę nie miała prywatnego życia. Cały ten szum wokól niej poprostu ją udusił. Mimo to, uważam że była wspaniałą osobą ze świetnym wyczuciem stylu.

Leggingsy- Reserved

Leggingsy były tego lata na topie. Nosiły je starsze i młodsze. Nic więc dziwnego, że projektanci chcieli stworzyć ich wersję zimową. Pierwsze z jakimi się spotkałam były te z H&M, w peruwiańskie wzory. Ponieważ jeszcze nie widziałam ich w sklepach, wybrałam te z Reserved.
Niestety nie czuję się dobrze nosząc je z krótką bluzką, więc dodałam sweter również z Reserved (chyba z zeszłego sezonu)

Buty widzieliście już w jednym ze starszych postów, są z H&M.
Torba również z H&M, kupiona około 2 lata temu ;)

No dobra, wiem. Prawie wszystkie elementy są z Reserved. Tak naprawdę nie lubię zbytnio tego sklepu, ponieważ czasem ceny są powalające. Ale jak widać na załączonym obrazku od czasu do czasu można znaleść tanie perełki ;)

PS. Jak Wam się podoba mój piesek? Nienawidzi aparatu, więc byłam trochę zdziwiona gdy tak ładnie ze mną pozował ;)

Hey, Hi, Hello!

I took advantage of the sunny day and shot some pics in a little bit lighter outfit. It was probably one of the last warm days so let's appreciate it and go for a walk ;)

I tried to mix to styles: the military and the vintage.
The white shirt I bought in River Island. There were a few ribbons on it but I think it looked a little bit trashy. That's why I removed it. With a black top underneath I wanted to distinguish the transparent white pattern.
The trousers are from Zara, the black moccasins H&M, the necklace SIX.



Zauważyłam, że liczba moich polskich czytelniczek wciąż wzrasta. Dlatego też na prosbę jednej z nich postanowiłam pisac także po polsku. Sądziłam, że język angielski jest uniwersalny i każdy zrozumie mój przekaz, więc nie widziałam potrzeby pisania postów dwujęzycznych. Jednak to żadnej problem ;)

A teraz do rzeczy.

Korzystając z ostatnich chwil słońca założylam coś lżejszego. Chciałam połączyć elementy militarne z vintage. Czy mi się to udało? Oceńcie sami ;)
Koronkowa biała bluzka jest z River Island. Jej orginalna wersja miała białe kokardki, ale wydawały mi się zbyt tandetne i je odprułam. Czarnym topem chciałam podkreslić białą koronkę ;)
Spodnie są z Zary, mokasyny z H&M, naszyjnik z SIX.

Once upon a time...

I know, I know. I've been a very bad blogger lately :( I'm so sorry. I hope you'll forgive me ;)

Gosh..so much to write...where to start ;)

Well, the summer is gone (I mean in Poland). The weather is almost everyday rainy and quite cold. But honestly I'm just sick of the heat. It was horrible in July!!!
Thank God it's over and we can start slowly preparing clothes for the autumn :)

When I was in Scotland I couldn't resist the desire of buying a few fashion magazines. Vogue, Elle, Company, Look etc. Aaaa! I was so happy to get them (no matter that they weigh ten kilos!) I was quite determined to carry them a whole day :D. So I found them very helpful with the pages about new autumn trends. There's a lot of them!! I'm sure you've heard about "CAMEL IS THE NEW BLACK" thing, Chanel fur coats or just gorgeous wasp-waisted circle skirts by Louis Vuitton.

My personal "must have"'s is a "school" bag a la Alexa Chung and a sweater with nordic prints. ;) And what are yours? :)

Ok, now let's go to the outfit of the day.

COLOUR BOMB.
Who would think that the sad and dark autumn will be so bright?? I think everyone is surprised ;) So am I. I have this sweater for almost 6 months. It's from a second hand. And these wedges are from H&M which I bought at the beggining of June. I wasn't even thinking about wearing them together but it looks quite ok, doesn't it? ;) Not to exaggerate I have black socks.


The jeans.
One day I was wondering if the skinny jeans decade will be ever over. Well, watching on the streets more and more girls wearing leggings, I have to admit it will be still in for a long time. But who says I can't wear the wide ones?? ;) I remember when I was a kid, I had a similar ones. And I loved it. So when I entered in Topshop and saw these light ones I fell in love!!! And they were on sale!! :)

I bought it during this big "Alice in Wonderland" madness ;) The shop is Orsay.

Plus the purse from Urban Outfitters (also on sale! I love British sales!!!!).


And how do you like it?? I think it's quite simple as the rest of my outfits. But while walking down the street I felt all eyes on me. It was a little bit strange. Well, I live in a quite small city, the society lives their different life, surely far, far away from fashion theme. But who cares?? Should I care about the opinion of bald youngsters in dirty trainers? Everyone has his own style ;)

I totally forgot!! As you've already noticed I cut my hair!! I've never had that short hair. I wore them always long. How do you like my new hairdo? ;)
